Flag of Washington

What the flag looks like

A dark green field with the state seal in the center: a portrait of George Washington inside a gold ring reading "The Seal of the State of Washington 1889".

What it means

The green stands for the Evergreen State's forests, and the portrait honors the president the state is named after.
