Flag of Utah
Officially State of Utah
What the flag looks like
A white field with dark blue across the top, its lower edge cut into five snowy peaks, and a red band across the bottom; in the center a dark blue hexagon holds a gold beehive above a small white star.
What it means
The blue stands for the sky, the white peaks for Utah's snow-capped mountains and the red for the red rock of the south, while the beehive represents the state motto, "Industry".
How to remember it
Utah
traded its old seal on blue for a gold beehive in a blue hexagon, between white mountain peaks and a red-rock band.
Fun facts
